This activity, which is organized at Easter, is a trip to Calonge's medieval past. During a weekend it fills the old town of Calonge and the surroundings of the castle with shows set in the Middle Ages and allows visitors to approach the historic center of the town in an original way. Calonge-Sant Antoni is a municipality with a long winemaking tradition. The relationship of the vineyard with the municipality goes back hundreds of years. Around the world of wine, the New Wine Festival is celebrated, which fills the historic center of Calonge with activities, exhibitions, workshops and shows that have wine as their axis. For San Martín, on November 11, Calonge recovers the tradition of opening the barrels of new wine, which is given to all the visitors who come around the castle to try. See Youtube video .
The Calonge castle parade ground is the setting where, for more than 4 decades, a varied repertoire of concerts can be experienced live during the months of July and August. This space has excellent acoustics for concerts ranging from jazz standards to flamenco, through sardanas and classical music. This is a good way to visit the gardens and surroundings of the Calonge castle at night, a setting for different architectural styles ranging from the 11th century to the present day.
Calonge-Sant Antoni has maintained its roots and traditions over the years. The Calonge Winter Festival, for San Martín, the Calonge Summer Festival, the second weekend of July, or the Sant Antoni Festival, the last weekend of August, are some of the festivals that maintain their vitality. To all this are added the fairs that are organized in the Fair Pavilion, a space of more than 2,000 square meters where the Garden Fair, Expohabitat or the Gastronomic Show, among other activities, are periodically held.
